The day's only intermediate sprint, and presumably the reason the world's best all-rounder spent the morning in a breakaway. Sagan rolls through it for the full twenty and stretches his lead in green.

Sagan kicks the moto
Back in the peloton, Sagan punctures. As he pulls to the side a television moto sits closer than he thinks reasonable and he lashes out at it with a foot; his mechanic then throws a bidon after it for good measure.

Kwiatkowski goes at seven kilometres and is mown down; Štybar goes at 3.4 and is caught inside two. Then the sprint, and André Greipel takes his third stage of this Tour.
