At the start

A Tour that ends against the clock

For the first time since 1989 the Tour finishes with a time trial, and for the first time ever it finishes outside Paris — a hilly run from the Formula 1 grid in Monaco, over La Turbie and the Col d'Èze, down to the Promenade des Anglais. Pogačar starts 5:14 up on Jonas Vingegaard and 8:04 on Remco Evenepoel. Further down, the margins are cruel: Adam Yates leads Carlos Rodríguez by a single second.

   Pogačar flies up La Turbie

   In the first closing time trial since 1989, Pogačar rockets up La Turbie fastest of all, already stamping his authority on the run from Monaco.

2. 211 km to go

   Clear over the Col d'Eze

   Over the Col d'Eze the yellow jersey is 24 seconds up on Vingegaard, the gap only growing as he tips onto the fast descent to Nice.

3. 3At the line

   A sixth win seals the double

   Pogačar blasts into Nice 1:02 clear for a sixth stage win and his third Tour title, completing the first Giro-Tour double since Pantani in 1998.
