The road

At the start

Montmartre, three times, in Paris

Tadej Pogačar rides into Paris with a fourth Tour in hand, 4:24 ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and with Florian Lipowitz third. The last day is not the usual procession: the route leaves the Champs-Élysées to climb the cobbled Côte de la butte Montmartre three times, the last of them barely five kilometres from the line.

   Montmartre makes it a race

   For the first time the Champs-Elysees stage climbs the cobbled Montmartre, and the laps of the Butte turn the processional finale into a real race.

2. 212 km to go

   Van Aert attacks

   Wout van Aert attacks over the Montmartre climb in the rain and powers clear, soloing toward the Champs.

3. 37 km to go

   Pogačar seals a fourth Tour

   With the GC times neutralised on the slippery roads, Pogačar rides in safely to seal his fourth Tour de France.

4. 4At the line

   Van Aert wins on the Champs

   Van Aert solos to victory on the Champs-Elysees to close out the 2025 Tour.
