The road
At the start
Madrid, and a red jersey that held
Nairo Quintana answered everything Chris Froome threw at him on the Aitana and carries 1:23 into Madrid, with Esteban Chaves and Alberto Contador thirteen seconds apart over the last place on the podium. Fabio Felline has the points jersey, Omar Fraile the mountains. Today is 105 kilometres from Las Rozas and then nine laps of a 5.8-kilometre circuit in the capital.
How it was won
- 53 km to go
Nine laps of Madrid to go
As the shadows lengthen over the capital, Jauréguí, Kennaugh, Chetout and Bouwman escape with a little under nine laps of the 5.8km circuit left and provide the evening's entertainment.
