The road

At the start

Over the Alps into France

Jonas Vingegaard and David Gaudu are level on time at the top of the classification, Giulio Ciccone eight seconds behind. Today is the longest stage of the race: 207 kilometres that climb for the first 77 over the Montgenèvre and the Col du Lautaret, then run down and out of the mountains to a slightly rising finish in Voiron.

   Lining up the sprint

   After 77 kilometres of climbing over the Montgenèvre and the Lautaret and a long, flat run down into the Isère, the bunch comes back together and lines up for the drag to the line in Voiron.
