The road
At the start
The long flat road to Reggio Emilia
Omar Fraile won from the break at Bagno di Romagna and Andrey Amador rode himself up to sixth; at the front nothing changed, Dumoulin still 2:23 clear of Quintana and 2:38 of Mollema. Today is the longest stage of the Giro, 229 kilometres from Forlì: two Apennine passes in the first half, then flat across Emilia, where the sprinters get a rare uncomplicated chance.
