Primož Roglič carries the first maglia rosa out of Bologna with nineteen seconds on Simon Yates and twenty-three on Vincenzo Nibali — a Giro already ordered by a race that lasted thirteen minutes. Two hundred and five kilometres of Tuscan hills to Fucecchio now, one fourth-category climb near the end for Giulio Ciccone's blue jersey, and then the fast men finally get a bunch sprint to fight over.
