A sprint at Rimini, and thinner ranks
Peter Sagan finally has a win, taken alone off the last climb at Tortoreto after more than a year without one. The overall has not moved — Almeida, Kelderman at 34 seconds, Bilbao at 43 — but the peloton has: thirty-two riders have now left this race. Today is a straightforward one up the Adriatic from Porto Sant'Elpidio, with only Monte San Bartolo to trouble anybody before Rimini.
