Del Toro in pink, 29km to Pisa

Isaac del Toro came off the Tuscan gravel in the maglia rosa at twenty-one years old, 1:13 clear of his own team-mate Juan Ayuso, with Antonio Tiberi third. Today is 28.6 flat kilometres from Lucca to Pisa, and everyone who lost time in Siena — Primož Roglič first among them — has one afternoon to take some of it back.
