After Le Lioran, a flat finish

Jonas Vingegaard beat Pogačar at Le Lioran, hauling himself back from a minute down and then winning the two-up sprint — the loudest possible answer to the question of whether the Itzulia crash had broken him. He is third at 1:14, Evenepoel second at 1:06, Roglič now 2:15 back. Today is 204 kilometres of Lot countryside, three small climbs and a flat run to Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Five riders left yesterday.

   A late crash wrecks Roglič's Tour

   With 12km to go Lutsenko hits a central kerb and the pile-up flips Roglič over his bars; he loses 2:27 and, effectively, his podium hopes, while Van der Poel is bundled into a bush.

   Girmay's hat-trick

   Towed up by Teunissen, Girmay wins his third stage of the race in Villeneuve-sur-Lot to take a commanding grip on the green jersey.
