At the start

A lumpy day to Colombey

Remco Evenepoel beat the yellow jersey by twelve seconds against the clock and is now 33 seconds down, with Jonas Vingegaard at 1:15 and Primož Roglič at 1:36. Today has five categorised climbs in its first two thirds and none in the last, 2,400 metres of climbing, and a finishing straight that rises. Rain is forecast, crosswinds are possible, and Pogačar has already called the day boring and stressful.

How it was won

  1. 5 km to go

    Abrahamsen's lone break falls

The tireless polka-dot jersey Jonas Abrahamsen spends the day alone off the front but is finally swept up with 5km to go on the lumpy run to Colombey-les-Deux-Églises.

  2. At the line

    Girmay wins again

On the slightly uphill drag Girmay surges back past Philipsen and Coquard for a second sprint win, tightening his grip on the green jersey.
