Five climbs on the way to Sagunt

Alexey Lutsenko survived from the break at Alcossebre while Froome nibbled a few more seconds at the line; he leads Van Garderen by ten, Chaves by eleven, Roche by thirteen. Today crosses the Serra d'Espadà, five climbs between a coastal start and a coastal finish, the sharpest of them throwing up ramps at seventeen per cent. Breakaway country, if the sprinters agree to let it be.
