At the start

Bulgaria's last day, and Yates is gone

Guillermo Thomas Silva took the maglia rosa out of the hills into Veliko Tarnovo and leads by four seconds from Florian Stork and Egan Bernal. Yesterday emptied rooms: Jay Vine, Marc Soler and Santiago Buitrago all abandoned, and Adam Yates, swept up in the same pile-up, does not start today. It is 175 kilometres from Plovdiv to Sofia, one long climb in the middle, a sprint at the end.

How it was won

  1. 1 km to go

    Break swept up in Sofia

The three-man move is caught with just 500 metres to run on the final day in Bulgaria, handing the stage to the sprinters' trains of Lidl-Trek and Unibet.

  2. At the line

    Magnier edges Milan

Milan opens up too early, 250 metres out; Magnier sits on his wheel, comes alongside in the closing metres and just edges ahead in a three-way photo finish for his second win in three days.
