Up and down from Rodez to Albi
The road from Rodez to Albi is rarely flat for long: a day of short categorised climbs across rolling country. The last of them tops out less than twenty-five kilometres from Albi; the descent runs to within about five of the line, and the finish rises on a false flat. It closes the second week, with the rest day beyond it.
