Along the foot of the Pyrenees to Pau
A transition along the foot of the Pyrenees, with the mountains still off the road. From Muret the terrain rolls through Aurignac and Trie-sur-Baïse, with no long slope and nothing over 500 metres, and from Morlaàs the last fifteen kilometres tip gently down into Pau. It is the last clear chance for the sprinters before the Pyrenees, and the Col du Portet comes the next day.
