At the start

Jumbo-Visma, one, two, three

The Tourmalet handed Jumbo-Visma the whole podium: Sepp Kuss in red, Primož Roglič at 1:37, Jonas Vingegaard at 1:44, and Juan Ayuso the best of the rest at 2:37. Remco Evenepoel lost twenty-seven minutes and his title defence with them. Today is the last day in the Pyrenees — 161 kilometres and 4,565 metres over the Col Hourcère and the Puerto de Larrau to a summit finish at Larra-Belagua.

1. 171 km to go

   Col Hourcère

   Evenepoel drives over the top of the Hourcère to take the mountain points and dives down the far side with Romain Bardet, the pair quickly opening 30 seconds.

2. 252 km to go

   Ayuso stirs the GC

   On the Puerto de Larrau Ayuso attacks twice to split the favourites, but Kuss and the Jumbo group shut him down; the effort proves not worth it.

3. 34 km to go

   Puerto de Belagua

   On the final climb Evenepoel lifts the pace with 4km to go and Bardet suddenly cannot hold the wheel.

4. 4At the line

   Larra-Belagua

   Evenepoel surges away to a Lazarus-style solo win, redemption barely a day after his Tourmalet nightmare.
