At the start

Red on Evenepoel, and a sprint

Remco Evenepoel out-sprinted Jonas Vingegaard at Arinsal and took the red jersey with it: he leads Enric Mas by five seconds and Lenny Martinez by eleven, with Vingegaard fourth at 31. Today comes back down to the coast — 186 kilometres to Tarragona, two gentle third-category climbs inside the last fifty and then a flat, falling run to the line. The sprinters have waited three days.

   Crashes in the finale

   The run to Tarragona is marred by crashes; Coquard is eliminated from contention and Buitrago loses 2:22, tumbling out of GC contention.

   Molano goes long but fades in the last 100 metres, and Kaden Groves gauges it perfectly to sweep past on the drag to the line.
